Mr Tom Sawyer is ab off a mischievous, ringleted haired son who has many exciting adventures. Tom has to scheme his focus out of trouble with his strict Aunt Polly and annoying full cousin Sid honoring him. Tom lives with his Aunt Polly because his poor mother had passed out-of-door instead a while ago. Tom falls into more trouble, at school, and at home. One of Toms biggest adventure takes place in McGuffeys countermine. Tom and a few other children, including the judges daughter Becky Thatcher, go near McGuffeys Cave for a picnic. At the picnic, the children decide to seek the cave. Becky and Tom wheel away from the rest of the children, deeper into the cave.

Soon, the ferry comes to aim the children. All the children carry on the ferry, except for Becky and Tom. Toms really in for trouble forthwith!
